The day we headed home from Leavenworth we stopped along the way and took a long journey on some forest service roads and had a lot of fun. It was absolutely beautiful up there with panoramic views, stunning! We have heard rumor from a from a friend that you can find fossils and geodes up in this area. So, along the way we stopped to gather rocks that might contain fossils and we also stopped enjoy lunch. We ended down in the old mining town of Liberty, a cute little place. It was a fun time, lovely day and great adventure!
