4th of July Learning

We spent some time yesterday doing art projects and learning about the 4th of July, the flag and our country. Holly enjoyed making her own variation of the American flag. She measured out her flag grid all by herself using a ruler and then painted out a flag, with stars created by white pastels. She also enjoyed doing marble painting with red, white and blue dusted with silver glitter.

We also spent some time learning about the American flag, what the stars and stripes represent and the etiquette of the flag. As well, she did some learning sheets centered around the 4th of July. We wrapped up the day enjoying a 100 piece puzzle of the United States.
