This weekend we took our first camping trip of the year up to Silver Springs with some great family friends. The weather started off a tad iffy on Friday, however it stayed dry that night and was even beautiful for Saturday. Sunday though, we woke to rain... causing an early pack up of camp.
The kids all had a wonderful time together exploring nature, playing and hanging out as a group. They were able to not only enjoy our campsite but also a fun little nature trail, beach time along the river and the largest marshmallows we have ever seen! A definite highlight to the weekend.
For Hudson, this was his very first camping trip and he was a wonderful trooper! He was in his usual wonderful spirits, seemed to enjoy the outdoors and slept well. I would say he will be a natural to the outdoors much like his sister is.
