Cattle Drive Parade

We recently enjoyed a local tradition for our town, a Cattle Drive Parade that celebrates the opening our state fair held in town. It is a wonderful parade, just the right size for kids. The parade actually starts with a small cattle drive led by a couple of cowboys... it really is the coolest part of the whole parade. However, you'll still see a lot of horses, local schools, clowns and fun entertainment. It was a beautiful day that was great for being outside and the kids had a great time!

Daffodil Parade

Saturday was an amazingly sunny day... we are so ready for sun! Holly and I were outside for just about the whole day between at home play, the park, the parade and helping Bryan on our project. In fact, I think I am a bit sun burned (oops!) - just enough to finally add a bit of color though.

We met up with our friends at the Puyallup Daffodil Parade and enjoyed a nice afternoon. Holly really enjoyed the bands and floats. She really took a liking to the cheer leaders the most though - I think it is the sparkly poms.
Heading to the parade.
The girls are inspecting a worm, fun stuff!!!

Parade & Park Fun

Friday was the Puyallup Fair Parade in downtown - where they run some bulls into the fair which is the official opening. We met up with friends and played at the park and then headed over to enjoy the parade, finishing back up on the playground. It was a fun morning!
Here are some of the kids waiting for the parade... will it ever start?
