We went for a morning walk with Uncle Don to the Nisqually Delta a week or so ago. The morning was nice, a break from the rain -- but pretty cold out. We made it out to the new board walk and took a bit of time on the new portion. However, it was pretty windy and cold in which Hudson was not enjoying at all. So, we turned back. Soon we'll have to pick a calm warm morning to try it again as it was beautiful!!! The walk was rewarding as always. A lot of juvenile bald eagles, hawk, herons, cranes, ducks, geese, sand pipers, bittern and more! We even saw evidence of beaver... so cool!
